Fifteen years after my graduation,
a red Nebraska flag flaps from my pole.
Herbie Husker T-shirts stuff my dresser.
A Lil' Red doll sleeps in the crib next to my daughter,
and I bawled like a baby the day Coach Osborne retired,
but I can't tell you who coaches my alma mater,
The University of Northern Iowa,
if the team won or lost last week,
or who is their QB,
so if you're looking to get a good education,
I highly recommend Northern Iowa,
and I'd be glad to talk about it,
