Author Sandra Scofield. I took a class with her at the Iowa Summer Writing Festival. She was nominated for a National Book Award. She graciously agreed to read a draft of the novel I am working on, "Bird," and gave me some hard truths that I agreed with about two years later and used in a later revision.
